Really love the kingdom hearts manga’s and video games! This is probably my favorite KH series so far😻👌😁❤️

The 358/2 Days saga is probably the most emotionally moving segment of the Kingdom Hearts story, and the way in which the graphic adaptation expands on it, actually improves it in my opinion! If you're a fan, I'd recommend you give it a shot。 The 358/2 Days saga is probably the most emotionally moving segment of the Kingdom Hearts story, and the way in which the graphic adaptation expands on it, actually improves it in my opinion! More like a 3。5 out of 5 stars personally I feel like there was not a lot of action, however the art style brightens my day it is one of my all time favorite art styles and I loved the friendships between Roxas and Axel。 I can’t wait to read the next vol。

Gosh, all the Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days have been pretty good, but I couldn’t put this one down。 I literally read it in two hours! It’s the second to last volume of this portion of the story and it’s already getting quite emotional。 I’m really intrigued, but also really nervous, about the end to come。。。

The first chapter in this volume did not win me over。 Still too much Disney。 But that's okay, it had a good moral to the story and all, and it didn't last longer than a chapter this time, thank goodness。 This volume was good。 There were lots of easter eggs to the second game and I enjoyed reading all this。 A lot of story progression and oh, to speak the obvious, Roxas is now confirmed to be Sora's Nobody。 But here's the kicker。 I thought Sora just had two Nobody's or something, right? Wrong! Xion is Roxas' Nobody。 Yeah。 You read that right。 A Nobody was able to have a Nobody because he started gaining sentiment as he regained some of Sora's memories。 Additionally, it's still unclear how having one or two Nobodies is supposed to help Sora regain his memories but they DID state that Sora's memories were scattered all over the worlds, and by anyone who knows of Organization XIII, it is widely known that they travel to any world。 And thusly, I theorize that the plan is for Roxas to do what a Nobody in the Organization does and travel from world to world。 As he does so, he'll regain Sora's memories, collecting the scattered memories (Tsubasa and the scattered memory feathers, anyone?)。 Xion was an unlikely pleasant surprise。 I assume she's helping speed the process along, given they haven't disposed of her。 However。。。 They make it seem as though her very existence or regaining of memories as well is actually a roadblock for awakening Sora。 Perhaps they're simply trying to find a way around having to dispose of her? Oh, yes。 And we also find out that Axel's real name was Lea and Saix's real name was Isa。 Rather, they're the Nobodies of these two people, who were best friends who, as Nobodies, eventually find themselves siding on opposites ends of the battlefield。 They remember each other too。 Quite sad。 They likely have a lot of meaningful and happy memories together。 It must be why they trust each other the most and seem to know each other's mannerisms and expressions and anticipated actions so well。 Oh, yes。 And after this volume I have a newfound soft spot for Demyx。 Albeit small, but it's there。 Well。。。 Actually just about all of the remaining members of Organization XIII, but mostly Demyx。 Axel too, I grow more attached to him with every volume now it seems。 And as for Xemnas。。。 He is the Nobody of Terra-Xehanohart, the version of Xehanohart that forced his heart into Terra and became the human flesh embodiment of both Ansem and Xehanohart。 However, Xemnas is no less powerful than Terra-Xehanohart。 Oh, and the very short story about the Dusk who secretly admired Xion。。。 That was sweet but also kinda sad, because I think him leaving her the Shion flowers which meant "I'll never forget you" in the language of flowers was his way of saying goodbye because he knew he was going off on a mission to his death。 How sad。。。 And gee, he was so romantic。 Maybe it was Marluxia, huh? No wait, he's just narcissistic。 。。。more

In this volume, friendships are pushed to the limit when Xion leaves the organization and Axel is tasked with bringing her back in。 Roxas is suspicious of Axel, finally realizing that there are things that everyone (including Axel and Xion) are hiding from him。I think this has been my favorite volume so far because we finally see the breaking point of Roxas as he continually grows frustrated with all the lies he's being told。 In the first several volumes, Roxas basically is a puppet for the orga In this volume, friendships are pushed to the limit when Xion leaves the organization and Axel is tasked with bringing her back in。 Roxas is suspicious of Axel, finally realizing that there are things that everyone (including Axel and Xion) are hiding from him。I think this has been my favorite volume so far because we finally see the breaking point of Roxas as he continually grows frustrated with all the lies he's being told。 In the first several volumes, Roxas basically is a puppet for the organization。 He does what he's told without question, and he does it cheerfully, with his friends by his side。 By this volume, he's starting to see that the organization isn't quite what he thought it was and he's starting to have doubts。 He's confused and angry, but still hopeful, and loving his friends, which is quintessential to his character。 I also loved seeing Riku as much as we did in this volume。 In the video games, Riku was never one of my faves, but I feel like we see a different side of him in this one, which I absolutely loved (I could also just be remembering his character in the first game - thinking about it now, I think I liked him better in other games, we just didn't see as much of him)。I still recommend the Kingdom Hearts manga, and I am excited to finish up this series with the last volume tonight! 。。。more

I'm kind of surprised how much I liked the manga adaptations of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, especially since the actual game was sort of a miss for me。 I found the the pacing of the game glacial and the feeling of the Org XIII Headquarters very bleak。 However, the manga goes along steadily and the interaction between the Organization members is really entertaining。 It seems like the strange humor that occurs in the previous mangas (KH1, Chain of Memories, and KH2) is better managed。 I never reall I'm kind of surprised how much I liked the manga adaptations of Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, especially since the actual game was sort of a miss for me。 I found the the pacing of the game glacial and the feeling of the Org XIII Headquarters very bleak。 However, the manga goes along steadily and the interaction between the Organization members is really entertaining。 It seems like the strange humor that occurs in the previous mangas (KH1, Chain of Memories, and KH2) is better managed。 I never really understood why people liked the nobodies of Organization XIII so much。 From playing the games, I just couldn't relate or sympathize with any of them, but Roxas and Axel。 However, I legitimately liked a few of the members by the end of this manga series。 Reading 358/2 before I read the KH2 manga series paid unexpected dividends, because I was able to enjoy the humorous interactions between Sora and the Org XIII members so much more。 By the way, can anyone confirm that Demyx is the Org XIII member that gets blasted by the Claymore system in the 2nd KH2 manga? Because that would have been even more HILARIOUS than it already was if true。 Anyway, there's a good improvement in the overall quality of this manga adaptation。 The art is consistently good。 The story is well managed, even with the extras thrown in。 I really get a sense of Roxas, Axel, and Xion's "feelings" throughout。 I would absolutely recommend this series to anyone who wants greater insight into the characters and story line between KH1 and KH2。 。。。more

Best one yet! I loved this volume so much! Demyx was hilarious as was Saix of all characters。 We are getting into the deeper and more emotional parts of the story and the balance between humor and drama was perfect。 I can't wait for the finale! Oh Demyx, you're such a dweeb。 *lol* But I love you anyway。Like I said in previous reviews, I love how this series manages to combine humor with the actually pretty grim subject matter of 358/2 Days' storyline。 We're really getting into that, now, and it's some rough stuff。 Poor little Xion and Roxas! *wibble* And OH MY GOSH, XEMNAS。 That ending scene was one of the creepiest things I've ever seen! o_O Good grief!
